Industry Leader, Dorothy Hinchcliff, Joins Advisor Perspectives as Editor

Dorothy Hinchcliff has joined Advisor Perspectives as its editor. Previously, Hinchcliff was the executive editor of Financial Advisor magazine, as well as editor of FA online and FA green, where she had worked since 2000.

In addition to her editorial role at Advisor Perspectives, Hinchcliff will develop new business opportunities, including conferences, research services and industry partnerships.

In her two-decade career at Financial Advisor magazine, Hinchcliff guided the digital and print versions of the publication, developing the editorial content and building it into an industry-leading resource. She has written extensively about financial planning and other issues impacting the financial advisory profession.

Hinchcliff has been a leader in promoting diversity in the advisory profession. She created the Invest in Women conference, the largest such gathering in the U.S. She has also led the drive to promote environmental, sustainable and governance (ESG) and socially responsible (SRI) investing.

“I look forward to working with Bob Huebscher and his team at Advisor Perspectives,” Hinchcliff said. “I have tremendous respect for the dedicated following and reputation that his publications have achieved over the last 12 years.”

“Dorothy is one of the most talented and innovative individuals in the financial advisory profession,” Huebscher said. “I have known her for many years and we are incredibly excited about the energy and enthusiasm she brings to our organization.”
